As a long-standing Battersea resident for over 20 years, Roz knows and loves the area well. Her experience has seen her work extensively with the local business community after being contracted to work on Wandsworth Enterprise Week 2018 and later, Wandsworth Enterprise Month 2019. Her background lies in Marketing, Events, Sponsorship and Communications, working in the UK, Europe and the US for companies such as Time Warner Inc., TIME Magazine, CNN, Discovery Channel and Morris Visitor Publications (where she worked closely with clients - Visit London, VisitBritain and a host of retail and restaurant businesses). She was the Editor of two trade publications which focused on the Retail, Entertainment, Culture and Hospitality industries in London.
Her charity work includes marketing and fundraising for Breast Cancer Haven, The Royal Hospital Chelsea and The Funding Network.
Over the next five years, Roz’s focus is to prioritise three key themes as highlighted by BID area businesses during the November 2018 Ballot. Namely, Marketing and Promotion, Safe and Welcoming and Events and Festivals (with scope for flexibility to respond to changing demands).
In conjunction with The Clapham Junction BID Board, Roz will champion The Junction businesses, working to ensure that their interests are best served. This will include creating effective partnerships and improving the trading environment and shopping experience for both residents and visitors.
Roz is passionate about food, travel, dogs (in particular Lurchers!), trees and film.
