Battersea’s much-loved Four Thieves is reinventing itself as The Thieves, a daring new playground for adults. Combining heritage charm with a modern, multi-layered “playhouse” concept, The Thieves is set to become South London’s ultimate destination for curated entertainment, immersive experiences, and unforgettable nights out.

Guests can expect a full spectrum of fun, from old-school games to live music, interactive parties, cabaret performances and DJ sets – all in a newly renovated space designed to delight the senses.

Games

For those that are up for a proper dose of grown-up fun, The Thieves Gambit, the cavernous upstairs arcade, will serve up darts, pool, R/C racing, and classic arcade favourites like House of the Dead and Mario Kart Arcade GP, perfect for a bit of friendly rivalry with mates.

Live Programming

The Thieves are teaming up with story-driven entertainment engineers House of Dinosaur and Twisted Time Machine to serve up next level nights out fuelled by interactive parties, cabaret performances, DJ sets and themed dining experiences, including:

The Venue: Reimagined
The newly renovated space highlights the building’s period features, including glazed wall tiles  and exposed brickwork, creating a playful yet sophisticated character. The bar now takes centre stage at the front, while a new performance platform ensures live music is visible from every corner. Expanded booth seating offers bookable spaces for groups, and carefully designed lighting and décor balance heritage with the venue’s modern “playhouse” vibe. Together, these updates make The Thieves a dynamic, multi-layered space where every visit will feel immersive, exciting and distinctly memorable.

Food
Who says pub food has to be boring? Food lovers have plenty to get excited about: Balans will bring a vibrant all-day menu leading you from brunch into sharing plates alongside salads, flatbreads, a signature burger and Sunday roasts. Guests can expect dishes like smoked salmon benedict, pad thai, and truffle fried chicken!
