It’s also home to one of the UK’s busiest interchange stations with an estimated 2,000 trains passing through Clapham Junction each day.
However, with strong Business Improvement Districts (BIDs) in neighbouring towns, online trading and discerning customers, town centre businesses find themselves having to work harder and smarter to continue to thrive in an increasingly competitive environment.
In November 2018 at a democratic ballot, landlords and business owners from Clapham Junction voted YES to setting up a new BID organisation – to maximise on the potential opportunities for the wider town centre and to establish itself as a major destination area. Read more...
