But here at The Junction BID, we’ve been working hard with our local businesses and stakeholders to ensure Clapham Junction is a safe, dynamic and prosperous area, making it more than just a station and creating a standout destination for businesses, visitors and residents alike.

That’s why last year, as we entered our second term as The Clapham Junction Business Improvement District, we launched our new strapline: 

Clapham Junction… More than a station, we’re a destination!

And you don’t just need to take our word for it! Recently, The Guardian listed Clapham Junction as one of the happiest places to live in Britain, citing great transport links, green spaces, trendy cafés and independent retailers, and entertainment venues – including The Clapham Grand and Battersea Arts Centre – as some of the great things that make The Junction such a special place to live.

At The Junction BID, our work to make Clapham Junction a standout destination focuses on three key priorities as voted for by our local levy-paying businesses: To raise the profile of Clapham Junction through effective marketing and promotion; to provide a cleaner, safer and more welcoming environment; and to provide exciting unique festivals and events.

The Falcon Road Rail Bridge is set to get a colourful makeover in 2025 thanks to the winners of an architectural design competition run by Wandsworth Council and London Festival of Architecture.
