The Clapham Junction BID Security Team

Our Clapham Junction BID Security Team is here to support local levy-paying businesses and offer friendly help and guidance to residents and visitors when shopping in The Junction!

We are pleased to confirm that the new BID Security Contractor (Blue Light Security) started on Wednesday, 1st April.

Funded by the BID, the Security team provides a dedicated presence Monday to Saturday (from 9:30 am to 6.00 pm), with regular patrols, reassurance, assistance, and advice. The BID Security acts as the “eyes and ears” of The Junction BID, gathering intelligence, reporting public realm defects, and collating information on prolific shoplifters operating in the area. 
 

The Junction BID works with a number of third-party agencies to refer homeless or vulnerable individuals, including homeless charities: SPEAR and Streetlink or by recording street begging incidents with the Police.
