The Lavender Hill Festival is a brand-new, vibrant community event, sponsored by The Junction BID, that celebrates the cultural diversity of Clapham Junction through fashion, food, music, and art.
Set against the stunning backdrop of the Battersea Arts Centre, this one-day festival is designed to celebrate culture by bringing together local families, residents, businesses and visitors for a fun and inclusive day.

STORIE STORIE
Join us for two African storytelling sessions presented by Storie Storie, an organisation founded by British-Sierra Leonean rapper and storyteller Alim Kamara, whose mission is to inspire change through the art of storytelling.
Alim and his inspirational speakers share cultural and life issues through storytelling that demonstrates success, disappointments, persistence and hard work. They share the tools that empower listeners to feel happy, express themselves and succeed.
ART INSTALLATIONS
Feast your eyes on visual displays throughout the venue, including a community art piece by Roopa Basu. Roopa is passionate about branding and graphic design and is dedicated to promoting creativity in education and her community. As runner-up at the Wandsworth Women’s Enterprise Awards in 2024, she aims to make a positive difference through her work.
