A TRIBUTE FASHION SHOW TO WARILACE MODELS

WARILACE
“I am somebody — let the world know your name”
Set inside the Grand Hall, this fashion show is a heartfelt tribute to Warilace — model agent, mother agent, trailblazer, and pioneer in promoting African culture in London.
From 2012 onwards, Wari mentored and represented fashion and commercial models, both within and beyond the fashion industry. She dedicated herself to scouting, developing, and managing talent, creating opportunities for models to gain invaluable experience and raise their profile within the industry. Through her vision and commitment, she connected models with designers, photographers, and advertising agencies, helping them shine both locally and internationally.
Wari’s own creative journey was rich and varied — from modelling, make-up artistry, and hairstyling, to appearances as an extra in films such as James Bond: Tomorrow Never Dies and The Wedding Planner. She was also the office manager at renowned fashion house Tata Naka, where she played a key role in organising their Fashion Week shows and coordinating every detail to bring each runway presentation to life.
Curated by her daughter Cheryl Granville, this special event invites you to experience the very essence of Warilace — a celebration of her life, artistry, and lasting impact on fashion and culture.
