The St John’s Hill Festival SW11 embraces the spirit of Eurovision!

Hello Europe, this is Clapham Junction calling! That’s right, on Sunday 12th May, the annual St John’s Hill Festival – organised and sponsored by The Junction BID – is set to embrace all things Eurovision, from the spirit of community and culture, to the wonderful and sometimes wacky.

You’re all invited to come and join in the Festival Fun between 11am and 5pm, where you’ll find pop-up stalls; fantastic street food and drink; arts and crafts; costume characters; live music; and DJs from Riverside Radio who’ll be broadcasting live and interviewing locals and visitors.

There’ll be live music throughout the day, including incredibly talented singers from Abba Angels, providing a fitting salute to the original Swedish foursome who won The Eurovision Song Contest in Brighton 50 years ago!

The Kidz Zone (on Spencer Road, just off St John's Hill SW11 1TQ) is guaranteed to be a fabulous day out for the whole family with free face painting and costume character, Batman, making an appearance with his famous car, the Tumbler. We’ll also be hosting a Dog Show, so don’t forget to bring along your furry K9 friends!

The Festival promises to be a day packed full of free entertainment and Eurovision-themed fun. It’s also a great opportunity to discover St John’s Hill with its fantastic selection of restaurants, cafés, bars, pubs and nightlife; health and beauty services; and wonderful independent retailers and business services. With local business owners throwing their doors open and welcoming visitors throughout the day, it's guaranteed to be douze points all around – enjoy!

NB: St John’s Hill will remain open to vehicle traffic throughout the festival.
